Williams, Grand Canyon Bed and Breakfast Raves and Reviews

An absolutely beautiful home with a great location one hour from the Grand Canyon in Williams, AZ, which is a charming, old time Route 66 town, also only one hour from skiing in Flagstaff. The decor was stunning with an Asian influence and breakfast was to die for. The hosts, Claire and Nick Kirby, were welcoming, helpful and easygoing. I would recommend a stay of any length, any time of year as the summer temperatures are comfortable and I'm sure snow in the winter is moody and beautiful. Mary, Tucson, Ariz.

We cannot rate this hotel high enough! We were made very welcome by Nick and Claire and nothing was too much trouble for them. The rooms we had were of a very high standard, very comfortable and beautifully decorated. We will definately be recommending the hotel to anyone planning on doing Rte 66 and are looking forward to staying there again next year! Peter, United Kingsom

Dear fellow travelers: Sheridan House Inn is a wonderful oasis. I rarely write reviews, but this B&B impressed us so much that I wish to share my enthusiasm! The hosts are delightful, and gracious; they offer many amenitites (including top-line British spa products) and the food is delicious! There is great attention to detail in the way the Inn is run. In addition, the hosts are very knowledgeable about the area and helped us to plan wonderful excursions to nearby places we otherwise would not have known about incluing, a nearby secluded canyon with wonderful views. They also helped us to plan a wonderful Grand Canyon visit, avoiding the summer crowds. The common porch and sitting areas are welcoming and a wonderful place to sit with a good book, a sketch pad, and/or a snack and refreshing drink to reflect on the natural beauty after a day of local excursions. I could not recommend this place more highly; it is a treat in every way. The inn keepers, Claire and Nick, are interesting people and excellent hosts while the inn is immaculate, with decor that is both elegant, eclectic and comfortable. It sits high on a hill overlooking Williams, a breezy, private and quiet setting. There are so many areas for guests to relax indoors and outdoors. The breakfasts were wonderful in presentation and flavor and bountiful. The inn keepers have thought about every way that they could make their guests comfortable. I got sick from too much sun exposure and they let me rest and prepared a special breakfast for me hours after breakfast normally ended. This place is perfect, not just a place to stay when sightseeing, but a destination itself for the discerning traveler. Lizzy, Harford, CT
